Gelonghui July 23rd｜United Rentals (URIUS) surged 9% in pre-market trading. The main catalyst is the just-released second-quarter financial report, which exceeded expectations across the board. At the same time, the company raised its full-year performance guidance. In terms of growth, revenue increased by 11.8% year-on-year, while adjusted earnings per share rose by 21.9% year-on-year—a significant improvement compared to the 9.6% growth rate in Q1. Core rental revenue reached $3.849 billion, up 12.7% year-on-year, marking a new quarterly high. The company raised its full-year revenue forecast for fiscal 2026 to $17.5–$17.8 billion, compared with the previous estimate of $16.9–$17.4 billion. Analysts had forecast $17.27 billion.
