Sources: Black Sea CPC terminal suspension causes sharp drop in Kazakh oil production, Tengiz oil field daily output halved

⑴ Sources say that after the suspension of loading at the Black Sea CPC terminal, Kazakhstan’s daily oil output has declined significantly. On Wednesday, Kazakhstan’s oil and condensate production fell by 21% compared to the July daily average of 2.07 million barrels, down to 1.63 million barrels per day.⑵ Sources report that crude oil production at Kazakhstan’s Tengiz oil field dropped to 406 thousand barrels per day on Wednesday, far below the July daily average of 925 thousand barrels, a decrease of 56%.
