Dekang Medical has been selected as the first company to participate in the FDA's Digital Health Device Pilot Program.
Golden Finance, July 23 — Continuous blood glucose monitoring device manufacturer Dexcom Medical has been selected by the U.S. FDA as the first company to participate in the TEMPO digital health device pilot project. The TEMPO project aims to evaluate new digital health technologies that help improve chronic disease management and provide real-world data. Dexcom Medical will implement an AI-driven blood glucose health program, combining data from Dexcom G7 and Stelo devices with contextual health information such as nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and stress, in order to provide more personalized insights for healthcare professionals and eligible users.
