TD Securities strategists Gennadiy Goldberg and Molly Brooks stated that the Federal Reserve’s balance sheet may not begin to shrink until the end of 2027. The Federal Reserve may also choose to hold steady and allow economic growth to naturally absorb the balance sheet, rather than resume direct quantitative tightening.
