NEAR price slipped 5.58% over the past 24 hours to trade around $1.92, even as NEAR Protocol rolled out a major mainnet upgrade featuring quantum-safe signing and dynamic resharding. NEAR Price Faces Key Technical Levels After Recent Decline
The NEAR price continues to trade above the important $1.80–$1.85 support zone. According to crypto analyst More Crypto Online, the current structure still resembles a micro 1-2 Elliott Wave setup. However, the analyst noted that the upside momentum has not yet developed into a convincing third wave.

If the NEAR price loses the $1.80 support, the next downside target could emerge near $1.74. On the upside, a close above $2.05 would strengthen the bullish outlook.
NEAR Price Supported by Quantum Security Mainnet Upgrade
NEAR Protocol announced one of its most significant infrastructure upgrades. According to BSCN, the network has activated quantum-safe signing on mainnet using a NIST-approved post-quantum signature scheme, making it among the first blockchain networks to deploy the technology in production.
The upgrade also introduces dynamic resharding, allowing the blockchain to scale automatically as network demand increases. NEAR said these improvements are designed to strengthen long-term security while supporting future decentralized applications and higher transaction volumes.
