Rocket Lab wins $266 million US government launch contract

Glonghui, July 22 | US private aerospace company Rocket Lab has secured a fixed-price contract worth $266 million to conduct 12 suborbital launches for the US government, with an option to add 6 more launches. The launches will take place at the Pacific Spaceport Complex in Alaska, with the related work expected to be completed by December 31, 2028. Upon awarding the contract, approximately $112 million in fiscal year 2025 research, development, testing, and evaluation funds were allocated.
