$XRP whale inflows to Binance dropped sharply, signaling that large holders reduced the amount of $XRP sent to the exchange. The 30-day Whale Inflow to Binance indicator fell to 947.4 million $XRP, marking its lowest reading in two months.

Earlier, the metric peaked at 1.445 billion $XRP in late June before declining 34.4% in less than a month.

Since exchange deposits often precede potential selling activity, the lower inflow suggested whales had become less willing to move large balances to trading venues.

Leveraged traders kept increasing bullish exposure

Derivatives traders continued adding exposure despite the decline in whale deposits. Open Interest climbed 3.63% to $828.37 million, showing that more Futures positions entered the market rather than existing contracts closing.

Funding Rates also remained positive after rising 9.17% to 0.008681, indicating that long-position holders continued paying shorts to maintain their exposure. This combination reflected sustained bullish conviction among leveraged participants instead of defensive positioning.

Even so, higher Open Interest also increases the probability of stronger volatility if the price moves against crowded positions.

As a result, Futures traders appeared confident, although the market still required healthy Spot demand to validate that optimism and prevent excessive leverage from triggering liquidation-driven price swings.

Network activity continued supporting $XRP’s valuation

On-chain valuation also improved during the latest market cycle. $XRP’s Network Value to Transaction (NVT) Ratio stood at 316.44 after declining 50.53% over the measured period.

A falling NVT ratio generally suggests that transaction activity increased faster than network valuation, indicating healthier blockchain utilization relative to market capitalization.

Together, both indicators suggested that selling pressure had eased while transaction activity remained comparatively healthy.

$XRP tests range resistance as RSI strengthens

$XRP continued trading within a well-defined consolidation range after successfully defending the $1.05 support level, with buyers gradually pushing the price toward the key resistance at $1.1823.

The recovery kept the series of higher lows intact, suggesting that buying interest steadily improved after the sharp June decline.

The 14-day RSI climbed to 54.70, crossing above both the neutral 50 level and its moving average at 46.33. This reading indicates that bullish strength had continued building without entering overbought territory.

If buyers secured a daily close above $1.1823, $XRP could have extended its recovery toward $1.30, with $1.50 emerging as the next major resistance.

However, failure to overcome $1.1823 would likely keep the token oscillating between $1.05 and $1.18 until stronger buying volume confirmed the next directional move.

Final Summary

  • $XRP whale deposits continue falling, reducing exchange supply and easing immediate selling pressure.
  • Futures positioning and improving technicals support a stronger outlook if resistance breaks.

JPMorgan believes that the Q2 earnings reports of global semiconductor companies have sent a clear bullish signal: First, demand has exceeded expectations, and foundry giants such as TSMC are universally raising capital expenditures to accelerate capacity expansion; second, the effect of price increases is materially "spreading" to equipment and materials, with equipment suppliers leveraging price hikes to boost gross margins; third, memory giants are securing an extremely high profit baseline for the next several years in advance through long-term agreements and massive prepayments.
