Michael Saylor opposes BIP 110, calling forced changes to bitcoin rules an act of nationalism
According to ChainCatcher, Strategy founder Michael Saylor tweeted that attempting to change Bitcoin’s rules simply because one does not agree with how others use Bitcoin is a form of nationalism that runs counter to the spirit of freedom, property rights, free markets, and Austrian economics upheld by the Bitcoin community.
He stated bluntly that BIP 110 is essentially the imposition of “monetary purity” through legal means and does not align with Bitcoin’s core principle of decentralization.
