Bitget recorded nearly $70 billion in TradFi perpetual trading volume in Q2 2026, making it one of the leading platforms for trading traditional finance-linked products.
According to TokenInsight’s Q2 2026 Crypto Exchange Report, this growth highlights the trend of crypto exchanges expanding into tokenized real-world assets.
The report also noted Bitget’s presence in the TradFi derivatives market, where crypto exchanges offer products tied to traditional financial assets such as tokenized stocks, commodities, and IPOs.
According to TokenInsight, TradFi perpetuals were among the fastest-growing segments across crypto exchanges during Q2. Monthly trading volume climbed from $52 billion in January to $268 billion in June due largely to the growth of equity perpetuals.
Exchanges accelerated the rollout of tokenized stocks, IPO products, and other real-world asset offerings. Accordingly, TradFi perpetuals have evolved from a niche product into a strategic battleground for major trading platforms.
TokenInsight attributed Bitget’s performance to product launches under its Universal Exchange (UEX) strategy. These included IPO Prime and Stocks 2.0, which the report identified as notable industry developments during the quarter.
TradFi perpetuals accounted for 8.61% of Bitget’s total derivatives trading volume, according to the report. That was the second-highest penetration rate among major centralized exchanges.
Bitget also maintained a top-three position in both the commodity and equity perpetual markets. Its futures open interest market share increased from 7.81% in Q1 to 8.58% in Q2. TokenInsight said this was one of the strongest gains among the exchanges it tracked.
Commenting on the findings, Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said the results validate the company’s Universal Exchange strategy. She said investors are increasingly seeking a single platform that provides seamless access to both crypto and traditional financial markets, with rising trading volumes reflecting growing demand for a unified trading experience.
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});The report comes as crypto exchanges continue expanding beyond digital assets into multi-asset trading.
Although total crypto exchange volume declined slightly to $16.5 trillion during Q2, TokenInsight said spot trading rebounded from $3.3 trillion to $4.5 trillion. The recovery was supported by renewed market volatility and Bitcoin’s repeated tests of the $60,000 support level.
Bitget said it plans to continue expanding its Universal Exchange ecosystem. The platform combines cryptocurrencies, tokenized equities, commodities, and other global assets in a single trading environment as the convergence of traditional finance and crypto continues.
