Ostium plans to compensate liquidity providers from its own balance sheet.
Foresight News reports that the RWA trading platform Ostium on Arbitrum has posted on Twitter stating that the team is working towards a restart this week. Its auditors, third-party cybersecurity experts, and engineering team are conducting final checks. The rules for position handling upon the resumption of trading are as follows: positions will be re-marked at the real-time market price upon resumption; there will be no liquidation due to price fluctuations during the suspension period; if a position is below the liquidation threshold at the time of resumption, it will be liquidated; pending orders will remain unchanged.
For affected liquidity providers, the team is working on a recovery plan. Ostium Labs intends to fund this from its own balance sheet and in conjunction with both new and existing partners. The details of the plan will be announced as soon as possible.
