London Stock Exchange Plans to Launch 24-Hour Trading Service
On July 21, the London Stock Exchange (LSE) announced plans to launch a round-the-clock trading service, marking the latest move by traditional stock exchanges to attract retail investors. Currently, an increasing number of retail investors are being drawn to digital currency trading platforms that offer 24-hour trading services. The London Stock Exchange stated on Tuesday that it will launch a nighttime trading platform in the first half of 2027. The new platform will operate independently from the LSE's main market, initially offering trading services for exchange-traded products (ETPs), including funds tracking UK or US stock markets.
