CLARITY Act hearing: Bullish representative warns that without legislation, liquidity will flow out and the US will lose to China in the competition
Foresight News reported that at today's CLARITY Act in-person hearing in New York, Bullish's Head of Clearing and Group Risk, Randi Abernethy, stated in response to questions from lawmakers that if the CLARITY Act fails to advance, a significant amount of liquidity will flow overseas, causing the United States to miss out on opportunities for capital accumulation, technological development, and innovation. She pointed out that from the perspective of exchanges, promoting the enactment of legislation would mean a return of liquidity to the United States. The return of liquidity would drive more capital investment and technological innovation, maintaining an advantage in competition with China and other countries.
