"Photon Stock God": The massive parameter count of Kimi K3 may benefit cloud hosting platform companies
BlockBeats News, on July 17, up-and-coming US stock star analyst KawzInvests (@KawzInvests) posted that Kimi K3 is an open-source model with 2.8 trillion parameters. According to Moonshot's own assessment, it ranks only behind Claude Fable 5 and GPT 5.6 Sol. The complete weights will be released on July 27.
Such a large model cannot be run on ordinary users' laptops or even a single server. Therefore, if this type of open-source model becomes popular, cloud hosting platforms will benefit. KawzInvests cited DigitalOcean (DOCN) as an example, which already supports Kimi K2.6 hosting services.
In addition to DOCN mentioned by KawzInvests, neocloud companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, NBIS, RIEN, etc. may also generally fit this investment logic.
