BlockBeats News, July 16, according to BIT(bit.com) market data, U.S. semiconductor stocks mostly fell in pre-market trading. Arm fell 4.70%, TSMC fell 4.52%, Marvell Technology fell 3.77%, AMD fell 3.25%, Lam Research fell 3.12%, and NVIDIA fell 1.62%.


The storage sector led the declines, with Western Digital falling 7.13%, SK Hynix ADR falling 6.66%, SanDisk falling 6.69%, Seagate Technology falling 5.46%, and Micron Technology falling 4.11%.


Optical communication concept stocks collectively weakened, with Astera Labs falling 4.45%, Coherent falling 4.43%, Corning falling 4.19%, Applied Optoelectronics falling 3.98%, Nokia falling 3.82%, and Credo falling 3.61%.
