OCEAN will upgrade its backend to address potential chain splits caused by BIP 110
ChainCatcher news, Bitcoin mining pool OCEAN announced on the X platform that OCEAN's backend will be upgraded to independently follow multiple chains in the event of a BIP 110 chain split.
If a split occurs, DATUM miners will automatically continue operating on the chain their node is running, and OCEAN will credit the rewards of that chain to the split share log based on the chain’s ongoing operation and terms of service. OCEAN will effectively operate as two mining pools starting from the split point, and the updated terms of service will be released before block 961,632.
