```htmlGolden Ten Data reported on July 13 that, according to a draft regulation, Brazil plans to open the uranium mining sector to private capital, allowing partnerships with enterprises, provided that the state-owned nuclear energy company retains at least 20% equity in each project. Under the proposal, the state-owned company, Industrias Nucleares do Brasil, which currently monopolizes Brazil's nuclear fuel cycle operations, will be permitted to publicly tender joint mineral exploration projects and collaborate with private enterprises on the extraction, processing, industrialization, and sale of uranium and other nuclear minerals. The proposal is currently being reviewed by the Civil Office of the President and the Ministry of Mines and Energy, and its contents may still be adjusted. Brazilian media Agência iNFRA first reported the relevant information at the end of last month.```
