Emerging market funds reduce concentrated holdings in the three AI giants as opportunities in Chinese tech stocks come into focus

Glonghui, July 13 — Investors are gradually shifting their focus from AI star stocks in emerging markets to a broader range of investment areas. Currently, just three Korean and Taiwan technology companies, with a total market capitalization of 4.4 trillion USD, account for a significant proportion of returns in the emerging market index. Institutions such as JPMorgan Asset Management and Grantham Mayo Van Otterloo & Co. are allocating funds to broader economic sectors, including gaming, energy, and even a Vietnamese dairy company. JPMorgan Asset Management stated that it is reducing its reliance on the three Asian tech giants by allocating assets in Mainland China and India.
