The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index closed up 1.71%, at 6013.62 points.

Popular Chinese concept stocks saw initial gains, with BYD, Tencent, ASE Semiconductor, and Canadian Solar up by 4.5%, NIO and Meituan up by 4.1%, XPeng up by 3.6%, New Oriental and NetEase up by 3%, and Alibaba up by 1.9%. Among ETFs, the China Internet Index ETF (KWEB) closed up 2.40%, the China Technology Index ETF (CQQQ) closed up 0.83%. The MSCI Emerging Markets ex-China ETF (EMXC) closed up 3.31%, Deutsche Bank Harvest CSI 300 Index ETF (ASHR) closed up 1.17%, while the Xtrackers Harvest CSI 50 (ASHS) closed down 0.58%.
