U.S. stocks movement | Optical communication concept continues to rally, Astera Labs surges over 6%

Glonghui, June 30 — The optical communication concept sector continued its previous day’s gains, with Astera Labs and Credo Technology rising over 6%, Fabrinet, Corning, and Himax Technologies all up more than 4%, Marvell Technology and Amphenol up over 3%, Nokia up more than 2%, and GlobalFoundries and Broadcom gaining over 1%. On the news front, Corning recently made a significant announcement at the Seoul AI Data Center Optical Communication and Interconnect Technology Conference, unveiling its glass-based optical interconnect technology and related next-generation optical interconnect component, the "Glass Bridge." It also showcased a new generation CPO architecture that combines glass substrates with optical interconnect technology. This latest technology directly addresses the core pain points in photoelectric coupling on the CPO track, currently the hottest sector of AI computing power, and has become the most fundamental driver behind the current rally.
