Mastercard will add new settlement options for regulated US dollar stablecoins such as USDC and PYUSD, supporting real-time on-chain transactions on networks including Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Base, Arbitrum, and XRPL. Banks and payment companies such as Cross River, Lead Bank, CBW Bank, ARQ, and Nuvei will be among the first to adopt this framework.
