Glonway May 12|Wall Street's top investment bank Piper Sandler is bullish on Tesla stock, stating that the stock has yet to fully reflect the future value of its humanoid robot Optimus business. Analyst Alexander Potter has built a comprehensive framework covering Tesla's 17 different product lines and believes that Tesla’s current core businesses—including electric vehicles, energy storage, Full Self-Driving (FSD) software, in-house insurance, Supercharger network, and standalone autonomous taxi business—are valued at around $400–$420 per share. As of Monday, Tesla's share price had risen by 3.91% to $445.Potter believes that if the share price of a certain exchange is $400 per share, investors are essentially buying the Optimus business almost for free. Piper Sandler maintains its “overweight” rating and $500 price target for a certain exchange's stock, meaning the firm expects Tesla's robot-related business to contribute $100 per share in value. Potter also noted that he believes this estimate may be on the conservative side.
