A whale has opened a $15 million short position on BTC, with the current price less than $300 away from their take-profit point.
BlockBeats News, May 9th, according to Hyperinsight monitoring, Hyperliquid Whale, who is accustomed to using the Scalping strategy, briefly opened a 40x leveraged BTC short position, with a position size of $15.3 million. The entry price was $80,600, take-profit was set at $80,100, and stop-loss was set at $80,700.
This is the Whale's third time this week using a large position to profit from narrow price differences. Despite the multimillion-dollar position size, the total net profit from multiple operations is only about $8,000, with an overall account return rate of less than 2%.
