Re migrates cross-chain infrastructure from LayerZero to Chainlink CCIP
Foresight News reports that the decentralized reinsurance protocol Re has migrated the cross-chain infrastructure for its deposit token reUSD from LayerZero to Chainlink CCIP, making it its sole cross-chain solution.
Re stated that the main reasons for choosing Chainlink CCIP include its default security mechanism based on a decentralized oracle network (DON), redundant verification for each bridge channel operated by 16 independent node operators, built-in native rate limiting and circuit breaker mechanism, and SOC 2 Type 2 certification.
Previously, Kelp DAO and Solv Protocol both switched to Chainlink CCIP cross-chain infrastructure following the Kelp DAO attack incident.
