According to ChainCatcher, SC Ventures, the fintech investment arm of Standard Chartered, has made a strategic investment in crypto market maker GSR, becoming the company's first external strategic shareholder since its founding in 2013. This transaction values GSR at 1 billion US dollars. SC Ventures stated that the investment aims to deepen cooperation between both parties in the fields of tokenized assets and institutional-grade digital asset infrastructure.
