Glonghui, April 30|The chip manufacturing equipment supplier of a certain exchange saw its pre-market price plummet by 8% to $1,671. In terms of news, although the just-released Q3 fiscal year 2026 financial report from a certain exchange comprehensively exceeded expectations, its stock price fell instead of rising. Some analysts believe the core reason is that its Q4 earnings guidance was below market expectations, triggering concerns in the market about whether demand for AI chip equipment can continue its rapid growth. Combined with the already high valuation, profit-taking positions exited en masse. Currently, the price-to-earnings ratio of a certain exchange is as high as 52.84 times, approaching a ten-year high. At such a high valuation, any market concerns about "slowing growth" will be magnified, making its stock price extremely sensitive to guidance falling short of expectations.
