U.S. Treasury yields rise as the market focuses on central bank meetings this week
According to ChainCatcher, citing Golden Ten Data, U.S. Treasury yields rose during Asian trading hours, with oil prices remaining high due to ongoing tensions in the Middle East. The market focus this week is on a dense schedule of central bank meetings, including the Federal Reserve's FOMC meeting. The market generally expects the Federal Reserve to keep the federal funds rate target range unchanged at 3.5% to 3.75% for a third consecutive meeting. According to Tradeweb data, the 2-year U.S. Treasury yield rose by 2.3 basis points to 3.798%, while the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield increased by 1.4 basis points to 4.323%.
