daos.fun founder summarizes: DAO product launches have stopped; speculation dominance and governance flaws make sustainability difficult
According to Odaily, baoskee, founder of daos.fun, posted on X that the team has stopped launching further DAO products. The reason is that the market is primarily driven by speculation, and the “degen-managed hedge fund” model has structural issues, including selling tokens after fundraising or buying their own tokens.
He pointed out that daos.fun has promoted narratives related to DAO, ICM, and AI, and emphasized that the team did not engage in insider trading or token sniping during operations, and created returns for users.
At the same time, baoskee mentioned that while the whitelist mechanism is controversial, overall it was still an “interesting experiment.” He said he will continue to follow the development of new projects such as pumpcade and megapot, and is optimistic about Solana’s potential for innovation in the financial gaming sector.
