Analyst: After a liquidation peak in the BTC futures market, a healthy deleveraging phase has begun, with OI contraction being a positive signal
According to ChainCatcher, crypto market analyst Axel stated on social media that about $526 million in BTC futures short positions were liquidated in a single day. Open interest (OI) did not rebuild leverage after reaching a high of 319,499 BTC, but instead fell back to 293,045 BTC.
