Industrial producer prices decreased by 0.7% in the eurozone and by 0.5% across the European Union
Industrial Producer Price Trends in the EU and Euro Area – February 2026
Preliminary data from Eurostat, the European Union’s statistical office, show that industrial producer prices in February 2026 fell by 0.7% in the euro area and by 0.5% across the EU compared to the previous month. In contrast, January 2026 saw a 0.8% rise in industrial producer prices for both regions.
Looking at the annual change, prices in February 2026 were 3.0% lower in the euro area and 2.7% lower in the EU than in February 2025.
Breaking down the monthly figures for the euro area, intermediate goods experienced a 0.3% price increase, energy prices dropped by 2.4%, and other sectors showed similar variations.
