Golden Ten Data April 8|U.S. energy stocks collectively plunged pre-market, with Occidental Petroleum, Canadian Natural Resources, Devon Energy, Murphy Oil, Vermilion Energy, Talos Energy, EOG Resources falling more than 7%; ConocoPhillips dropped over 6%; U.S. Energy fell more than 4%. On the news front, the United States agreed to a two-week ceasefire with Iran in exchange for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. This news triggered an international oil price crash, with Brent crude futures tumbling over 17% to $90.01 per barrel and WTI crude futures sliding 19% to $91.05 per barrel.
