Bulgaria Sees Modest Inflation After Euro Introduction
Following Bulgaria's transition to the euro on January 1, Central Bank Governor Dimitar Radev reported that inflation rose only slightly. He noted that public approval for the euro is on the rise, possibly influenced by the ongoing conflict in Iran. Before the currency change, enthusiasm for adopting the euro was relatively subdued. Inflation trends in Bulgaria remain stable.
