BlockBeats reported that on March 26, the Singapore-based Web3 infrastructure company Startale Labs announced the completion of a $63 million Series A funding round. The round was led by Sony Innovation Fund, with participation from Samsung Next, UOB Venture Management, and SBI Holdings, among other Asian industry and financial giants. This round has doubled the company’s valuation compared to the seed extension round at the beginning of 2024. The funds raised will primarily be used for:

· Global promotion of the "Startale Super App": integrating the USDSC stablecoin as a unified settlement layer for on-chain entertainment. · Expansion of the "Soneium Spark" incubation program: the program has now attracted over 250 decentralized applications covering gaming, music, and AI content creation. · Development of "entertainment-native" blockchain tools: helping traditional media companies tokenize intellectual property and engage directly with global fans. · Advancement of yen stablecoin (JPYSC): focusing on the regulated financial sector to promote it as the main liquidity pair on the Soneium network, enabling 24/7 cross-border settlements in the Asia-Pacific region.
