Canton will introduce EVM and SVM compatibility through Zenith, with mainnet expected to launch within 4 months.
Foresight News reports that the institutional blockchain platform Canton Network will introduce EVM and SVM compatibility through the Zenith stack. Zenith has currently completed CIP-0091 Milestone 1 and is in the permissioned testnet phase, with the mainnet expected to launch within the next four months. This upgrade aims to eliminate the learning barrier of Canton’s native Daml language, enabling Ethereum and Solana developers to use Solidity and Rust languages to directly build or migrate applications on Canton.
