The Nasdaq 100 index preliminarily closed down 1.4%. Among its components, Strategy fell 6.1%, Charter Communications dropped 5.9%, Starbucks declined 5%, Comcast and others fell more than 4%. Natural gas supplier Diamondback Energy rose 1.5%, AMD gained 1.7%, Datadog increased 2%, Intel climbed 2.4%, and nuclear power stock CEG surged 3.3%. The Dow preliminarily closed down more than 700 points, with components McDonald's, Home Depot, Procter & Gamble, Visa, and Nike leading the decline with drops of up to 3.3%, while JPMorgan and Chevron rose up to 0.4%.
