Golden Ten Data reported on March 18 that shipping data shows, after the US-Israel-Iran conflict effectively cut off crude oil exports via the Strait of Hormuz, Saudi Arabia's crude oil loading volume at its Red Sea Yanbu port is expected to soar to a record daily 3.8 million barrels in March. Saudi Arabia can deliver up to 7 million barrels of oil per day to Yanbu via its East-West pipeline, thus avoiding a larger reduction in output. Saudi Aramco stated on March 10 that about 5 million barrels per day of crude oil transported through the pipeline can be exported, with the remainder supplied to local refineries. According to shipping data from the London Stock Exchange Group, about 70 oil tankers are expected to load at Yanbu this month, with about 40 still en route. Data shows that so far in March, Yanbu's average loading volume has risen to 2.6 million barrels per day, up from 1.4 million barrels per day in February and 1.3 million barrels per day in January.
