Scottie Resources selects Tetra Tech for feasibility study, advances ore sorting
Scottie Resources Corp. (SCOT) announced it has selected Tetra Tech Inc. to conduct a feasibility study on its Scottie Gold Mine Project following completion of a preliminary economic assessment. The company also reported positive results from its Phase 2 Ore Sorting Study.
The feasibility study targets completion in Q2 2027 and will evaluate a direct-ship ore operation designed to produce gold-bearing concentrate for shipment to Asian smelters. The development plan incorporates ore sorting to eliminate the need for a conventional gold processing plant and tailings facility.
The Phase 2 ore sorting study confirmed results from Phase 1 testing. X-Ray Transmittance technology demonstrated recovery of 82% to 92% of gold when accepting 50% to 65% of mass as sorter product. The company selected XRT over X-Ray Fluorescence based on recovery advantages and logistical considerations.
Testing was conducted on composite samples weighing approximately 260 kg each from three deposits: Blueberry Open Pit, Blueberry Underground and Scottie Underground. Half of each sample was tested using XRT at the Saskatchewan Research Council Facility, while the other half used XRF sorting at the Rados Facility in South Africa.

The company plans a Phase 3 production-scale sample test using drill core from the 2025 season. This sample will be tested at the Tomra facility in Germany, with Tomra operating over 150 XRT units worldwide.
Scottie Resources holds 100% interest in the Scottie Gold Mine Property and controls approximately 58,500 hectares of mineral claims in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle. The current resource estimate includes 703,000 gold ounces at 6.1 g/t in the inferred category.
