South Korea to restrict naphtha exports and launch emergency aid measures
Golden Ten Data reported on March 18 that South Korea’s Minister of Economy and Finance, Gu Yun-cheol, stated on Wednesday that South Korea will restrict naphtha exports and temporarily designate this raw material as a supply chain economic security item. The government will also increase fiscal support for affected companies by 1.5 trillion won (approximately $1.01 billions), including subsidies for increased import costs of alternatives and preferential interest rates for companies operating high-risk economic security projects.
