Rankings: Leading Crude Oil Producers for 2025
Global Leaders in Crude Oil Production for 2025
In 2025, the United States stood out as the world's largest crude oil producer, significantly outpacing all other nations. Despite America's dominance, the Middle East continued to serve as the primary center for oil output, with five of its countries ranking among the top ten globally.
The accompanying graphic, based on 2025 figures from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), illustrates the distribution of crude oil production by country. The data reveals that while oil production spans several continents, the majority of output is still concentrated among a select few major producers.
With daily production exceeding 13.58 million barrels, the U.S. accounted for 16% of the world's total crude oil output in 2025.
