Asia Index ETF Contracts Launched! Nikkei EWJ + Korea EWY Double Giants Arrive [20x Leverage, 0 Fees, Get 10 USDT Bonus]
Bitget2026/03/17 07:561. Why Pay Attention to Japanese and Korean Stock Markets?
Japan: EWJ (iShares MSCI Japan ETF)
EWJ delivered a solid return of nearly 26% over the past year, with an impressive rally of over 25% in 2025 alone. The drivers are clear—ongoing corporate reforms, the Bank of Japan’s policy shift, plus robust performance from export giants like Toyota and Sony, with financials also rallying in tandem. Valuations remain reasonable, underpinned by a steady economic recovery.
Korea: EWY (iShares MSCI South Korea ETF)
EWY has performed even more spectacularly, surging over 130% in the past year. The core drivers are Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix—the dual AI memory chip leaders riding the global computing power boom, with skyrocketing demand for HBM chips fueling the KOSPI's climb. As the global AI wave accelerates, Korea’s semiconductor sector remains the go-to beneficiary.
Both markets are roaring, international capital is pouring in, and the window to position yourself is wide open!

2. Contract Trading: Amplify Asian Opportunities with Low Barrier
Bitget now offers perpetual contracts for EWJUSDT and EWYUSDT (settled in USDT). The key advantages:
- Flexible leverage: Up to 20x, both long and short
- Zero trading fees: Extra 10 USDT for new users
- 24/7 trading: Catch every market move, anytime
Compared to spot ETF investing, contracts let you utilize capital more efficiently: bullish on Japan’s recovery? Go long EWJ and maximize policy gains. Bullish on Korea’s AI-driven chip boom? Go long EWY and capture sector expansion. Even if the market trends downward, shorting contracts can hedge risk or profit from a reversal. Whether you’re after short-term swings or mid-term positioning, there’s a strategy for you.
3. Strategic Positioning and Risk Control—Stay Safe, Don’t Get Wrecked
If you believe in Japan’s long-term transformation, focus on EWJ contracts—track BOJ policy and corporate earnings closely. If you prefer a high-growth tech narrative, overweight EWY, keeping a close eye on the semiconductor cycle and the AI industry.
In terms of strategy: Combine technical and fundamental analysis, rigorously set stop-loss and take-profit points, and let discipline—not emotion—drive your trades. Start with low leverage to get used to the volatility, then scale up as you gain experience. Stay alert to Fed moves, BOJ policy, Korean export data, and geopolitics, and rebalance dynamically as needed!
Summary: The bull case for Japan and Korea is clear, with significant upside ahead. The launch of EWJUSDT and EWYUSDT contracts is the most efficient way to participate in this Asian equity boom. Don’t miss out—join in and share the gains!
