Ripple’s New Partnership With i-payout Promises Faster Payouts in North America

Ripple has entered a new partnership with payments platform i-payout to enhance cross-border settlement flows into the United States and Canada. i-payout, operating for nearly two decades as an API-driven solution for global businesses, focuses on providing compliant, international payment services to workers, merchants, and business partners. This collaboration is positioned as a step forward for streamlining global payouts and increasing speed for high-volume transactions.

i-payout Taps Ripple Payments for Real-Time Settlement

i-payout has chosen Ripple Payments as the core digital asset infrastructure for its platform, a move aimed at significantly reducing settlement time and enhancing payment transparency. Previously, cross-border flows into North America often required several days to clear, tying up working capital for global firms. Now, both organizations plan to accelerate the process to near-instant resolution, offering clients and their end recipients a smoother experience.

Addressing Settlement Delays and Improving Liquidity

The companies stated that the integration of Ripple Payments would directly address key friction points in existing settlement networks, such as slow transaction times and limited visibility. By reducing reliance on traditional correspondent banks, i-payout expects greater efficiency in liquidity management for its enterprise clients. The aim is to improve operational efficiency while prioritizing compliance throughout the payment process.

The announcement from i-payout emphasizes their intent to “accelerate settlement, improve payment transparency, and support high-volume cross-border payout flows.” With Ripple’s technology, i-payout’s platform will now provide real-time payment capabilities for both the U.S. and Canada markets.

Eddie Gonzalez, President of i-payout, remarked on the selection of Ripple as a strategic partner.

The digital marketplace is important to the future, and Ripple is the right partner to take us there.

This partnership also seeks to minimize capital required by global platforms for payouts, supporting real-time transaction expectations as international commerce evolves. The companies suggest this may enable faster delivery of funds to users, addressing a longstanding challenge in cross-border remittances.

i-payout brings extensive experience as a business serving clients worldwide with technology-driven payment solutions, often operating at the intersection of regulatory requirements and international finance.

Both Ripple and i-payout have confirmed their focus on efficiency, transparency, and regulatory compliance. They plan to leverage enterprise-grade infrastructure to scale services for growing transaction volumes across North America.

Ripple continues to seek broader regulatory approval, with plans recently revealed for securing an Australian Financial Services License. This effort is designed to expand Ripple’s institutional payment services into the Asia-Pacific region, supporting a wider client base of financial institutions and fintech firms. Simultaneously, Ripple has launched a $750 million share repurchase program, with the company valued at $50 billion. The buyback, structured as a tender offer for employees and investors, reflects a commitment to capital management as Ripple’s payments infrastructure develops globally.
