More than $438 million worth of crypto tokens will enter the market between March 16 and March 23. Data from Tokenomist shows a mix of cliff unlocks and linear unlocks across several altcoins.
Such events increase supply in a short time. When supply rises, and demand stays the same, price fluctuations often follow.
Several projects will release large batches of tokens at once. These cliff unlocks are led by LayerZero (ZRO) with 25.71 million tokens worth $55.53 million. This equals 5.64% of its adjusted released supply.
BARD will unlock 32.40 million tokens worth $35.03 million, or 12.01% of its adjusted released supply, one of the largest ratios in the group.
RIVER will release 2.03 million tokens worth $46.47 million, equal to 4.44% of supply. Arbitrum (ARB) will unlock 96 million tokens worth about $10 million, which equals 1.85% of the supply.
Other cliff unlocks include MBG with 27.15 million tokens worth $9.42 million, or 9.71% of supply. YZY will release 20.83 million tokens worth $6.80 million, equal to 4.90%. KAITO will unlock 17.60 million tokens worth $6.45 million, or 5.19%.
These events release the supply in one block. Early investors, team wallets, or ecosystem funds often hold these tokens.

Another group of projects will release tokens through daily linear unlocks. These releases cross $1 million per day.
RAIN leads this category with 9.47 billion tokens worth $86.51 million entering circulation. This equals 1.98% of its circulating supply.
Solana (SOL) will see 472,330 tokens, worth $43.80 million, unlocked, though the share of the supply remains small at 0.08%.

TRUMP tokens worth $25.63 million will unlock through the week, equal to 2.72% of the supply. Worldcoin (WLD) will release 37.23 million tokens worth $13.64 million, equal to 1.28%.
Dogecoin (DOGE) will unlock 97.15 million tokens worth $9.51 million, but this equals only 0.06% of the supply. ASTER will release 10.28 million tokens worth $7.39 million, or 0.42%. TAO will unlock 25,200 tokens worth $7.13 million, equal to 0.26% of its circulation supply.
Linear unlocks usually create slower supply pressure. Still, large-dollar-value unlocks can affect prices when market liquidity is thin.
