格隆汇 March 12|According to Taiwan Industrial & Commercial Times, the global semiconductor industry is brewing a new wave of price increases. Three major international chip design giants—Texas Instruments (TI), NXP, and Infineon—have recently issued price adjustment notices to their clients, announcing that prices for certain products will be raised starting April 1. Among them, some Texas Instruments products will see price hikes of up to 85%. Infineon's mainstream products are expected to increase by 5% to 15%, while some high-end products may see even higher adjustments. NXP stated in its notice that the company will inform clients in advance about affected products and new distributor prices, with distributor book prices expected to be updated on March 30 to ensure the smooth implementation of the official adjustment on April 1.
