Glonghui, March 6th|According to Southern Metropolis Daily, a consumer in Beijing complained on social media that on March 1st, she dined at the well-known Japanese restaurant chain Sushiro and found parasite eggs on a fish slice. On March 4th, the Market Supervision Administration of Mentougou District, Beijing, issued a statement: In response to the issue raised by a citizen who reported "finding tuna parasite eggs while eating at Sushiro in Chang'an Tianjie Mall, Mentougou District," our bureau attached great importance to the matter, immediately organized law enforcement officers to conduct an on-site inspection, preserved evidence of the remaining tuna blocks (akami) in the store, and launched a case investigation. The market regulatory authorities will resolutely safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of consumers and strictly investigate and deal with illegal and irregular activities in accordance with the law. After the news was released, on March 6th, the share price of Sushiro's parent company, the Japanese listed company Food & Life Companies, once fell by nearly 14%, and as of press time, the decline was about 7%.
