PANews reported on February 14 that Lighter announced on the X platform that it is introducing a cross-margin mechanism for real-world assets (RWA). Starting today, this mechanism will first be implemented in the gold and silver markets, and next week it will be extended to all other RWA asset markets. This means that RWA assets can share collateral with crypto-native markets, thereby improving capital efficiency.
