Digital asset custody platform Fireblocks officially announces partnership with Bitcoin Layer2 network Stacks
ChainCatcher reported that digital asset custody platform Fireblocks has announced an integration partnership with the Bitcoin Layer2 network Stacks. The two parties will open up native Bitcoin DeFi service channels for institutional users, with this feature expected to officially launch in Q1 2026.
This integration will allow Fireblocks’ more than 2,400 institutional clients to participate in the Stacks-based DeFi ecosystem without having to sell their BTC holdings. Services include custody of STX tokens, sBTC minting and cross-chain operations, BTC-collateralized lending via Zest and Granite, as well as participation in Hermetica’s BTC yield vaults and Bitflow’s native trading and liquidity services.
