BlockBeats News, January 31, according to Bitget market data, spot silver experienced a single-day drop of over 35% on January 30, ultimately closing down 26.48%, marking the largest single-day decline in history, with a closing price of $85.3.


Additionally, according to Coinglass data, liquidations across the entire network in the past 24 hours reached $1.382 billions, with XYZ:SILVER (mainly silver on Hyperliquid) accounting for $150 millions in liquidations, XAG accounting for $36.69 millions, making silver the third largest asset by liquidation volume in the crypto space, behind only Ethereum and Bitcoin. It is worth noting that silver, as a TradFi trading asset, has been listed on a large scale in the crypto sector for less than one month.
