Spot gold's intraday maximum drop exceeds 9%, with a market value evaporating by about "2 bitcoins"
BlockBeats News, January 30, according to Bitget market data, spot gold dropped from a daily high of $5,450 to a low of $4,944, with its market value evaporating by about $3.5 trillions at one point, exceeding twice the total market capitalization of bitcoin (currently reported at $1.64 trillions).
In addition, spot silver fell from a daily high of $118 to a low of $95.2, with its market value evaporating by about $1.28 trillions at one point, which is close to four times the total market capitalization of ethereum (currently reported at $327.3 billions, approximately 3.91 times the total market capitalization of ethereum).
