Institution: Real interest rates remain high, which may provide grounds for a near-term rate cut by the Federal Reserve
PANews, January 29 – According to Jinse Finance, Scott Helfstein, Head of Investment Strategy at Global X, pointed out in a report that real interest rates may still be too high, which could prompt the Federal Reserve to cut rates again soon. “This leads us to believe that the Fed may still be more dovish than the market expects and could cut rates again as early as the first quarter,” he stated. Helfstein believes that the current market is likely driven by fundamentals, and so far, the earnings season has met high expectations, with many companies also reaffirming their performance guidance.
