Glonghui, January 29|Goldman Sachs released a report, expecting investors to have a slightly positive reaction to Meta's Q4 earnings report, due to strong Q4 revenue trends, Q1 revenue guidance that is stronger than the bank's estimates, and forward-looking operating/capital expenditure guidance that, while higher than the bank's previous estimates, is slightly below market concerns. For the earnings call, the bank expects the focus to be on any insights into the broader AI strategy for the next 12 to 24 months, how to interpret the company's expansion of computing resources for a mix of internal and external use cases, and how management balances potential core operational efficiency with growth investment funding. In addition, the bank expects questions regarding the sustainability of the indicated Q1 2026 revenue growth rate, and whether applying computing resources to the company's core business is bringing about a new paradigm of revenue opportunities. The bank gives Meta a "Buy" rating with a target price of $815.
