According to a report by Bijie Network: White House advisor Patrick Vitte confirmed that U.S. national security officials are investigating the sources of funding for the Maduro regime in Venezuela, explicitly listing "digital assets" alongside commodities such as oil. He refused to confirm whether any bitcoin had been seized, citing the ongoing nature of the investigation. Previously, unverified claims widely circulated online suggested that Venezuela might control more than 600,000 bitcoin, but blockchain analytics firms have consistently struggled to verify this assertion. The trading price of bitcoin is $89,285.
